An epic video has just been released showcasing our beautiful country from the eyes of a tourist, making us all proudly South African in the process!

Cape Town, South Africa – Tyson Mayr, also known as ‘the Naked Traveller’, is an Aussie who sold everything he owned in 2009, walked away from an office cubicle life, to find a life full of adventure & new experiences around the world, while trying to make a difference in the process.

Mayr is now a full time Travel Adventurer & Content Creator, travelling to nearly 80 countries since 2009. In 2014 he won ‘The Best Job in the World’ competition, is the Global Charity Ambassador for clean water non profit RainCatcher, carrying & installing water filters as he travels & also regularly hosts travel shows on multiple networks such as MTV & other networks.

Mayr recently visited South Africa which he describes as the ‘Ultimate Travel Playground’ destination that truly has something for everyone.

“Adrenaline pumping adventure, culture, cities that never sleep, surrounded by breathtaking nature, filled with wildlife. A place where you can spend your time deep in the jungle on safari, or by a beach filled with penguins, sipping back a cold beer.”

“South Africa is a melting pot of many different cultures, which over time, has cooked up a country that is an absolute delight to all of the senses. Travel with respect and use the obvious caution you would anywhere else, and I guarantee this will be one of the best trips you ever do.”
