Polocrosse SA shared a wonderful video of the grooms and support staff celebrating after the ladies’ team won their tournament against the Barbarians.

 

South Africa (30 May 2023) – South African Polocrosse shared a heartwarming video after the ladies’ team won their tournament against the Barbarian ladies’ team. The tournament took place over the weekend and it ended off with a celebration alongside the support staff and grooms.

The celebration has everyone smiling because it’s so lively and exciting. Everyone knew the dance moves and words to the song. SA ladies’ team captain Jax Minnaar even joined in.

The South African team played three matches against the Barbarians winning two of them and losing one. Despite the loss, which was 20 – 23, they won overall.

Polocrosse South Africa took to social media to praise the team, thank the Barbarians and share some information about the tournament.

“Congratulations to the young and super talented South African Ladies’ Polocrosse team on their thrilling victory in the final game, clinching the series with a 2-1 win against the Barbarians!

Your skill, agility, and teamwork were on full display throughout the series, and it’s a testament to your dedication and hard work. You have made South Africa proud!

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Barbarian squad for their participation and the tremendous effort they put into these exhilarating matches. Your sportsmanship and competitive spirit added to the excitement of the series.

This series showcased the talent and passion within the world of Polocrosse. Both teams displayed remarkable skills and provided fans with unforgettable moments on the field.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the sponsors who have supported the South African Ladies’ Polocrosse team throughout this journey.
