Riaan Manser, Kurt Schoonraad and Rob van Vuuren go head to head comparing who is the best water survivalist in Cape Town. Who do you think wins?

CapeTown Tourism created a video featuring comedians Kurt Schoonraad and Rob van Vuuren, and adventurer Riaan Manser. The three men stood around their braai and compaired who is the ultimate survivalist. Things get a little heated between the men as they attempt to out survivalist each other.

“Although Day Zero has been moved out, Cape Town still needs to save as much water as possible to make sure there is enough for everyone. If adventurer Riaan Manser could circumvent Madagascar for 11 months using minimal water, surely we can too.”

The banter between the three is great and we can see why they were all put together. From comparing their… um…”pumps” and the size of their JoJo Tanks. Things get a little competitive and Rob van Vuuren makes us all wince when talking about his poops. Kurt Schoonraad just has to out-do them and tries to imply his cup is his bath size.

Ofcourse, Riaan jumps into the conversation to share how he circumnavigated Madagascar, travelled around Africa on a bicycle and crossed the Atlantic. All of which was done with very little water. But also, he hasn’t showered since!

The message about Day Zero is still really clear, even though Day Zero has been pushed back, it is still important to keep on diligently saving water.
