Con Brio Cares Delivers Heartfelt Donation and Essentials to Hospitals

Con Brio Cares has once again touched the lives of those in need. This week, their dedicated volunteers delivered essential items, restored dignity to individuals facing hardship and showered new moms and tots with comfy goodies.

Johannesburg, South Africa (07 March 2025) – Acts of kindness and touching lives are the very pulse of the Con Brio Cares charity, which continuously finds heartfelt and creative ways to pour goodness into the cracks of our society.

The Con Brio Cares volunteers this week had the privilege of donating essential items to individuals in need, ensuring they have the basics to get through each day with dignity.

At Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, they brightened the days of staff by delivering much-needed cupboards to Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, helping to improve storage and organisation for the hardworking staff and the patients they care for.

New mommies at the hospital were also receiving 20 premie bags, 24 baby bags, and 10 snuggly teddies! Each lovingly knitted item, donated with open hearts, offered comfort and hope to tiny newborns and their families.

“In addition, we left teddies for the hospital’s clinic, bottles, pillows, and baby linen—all made possible by our incredible community of volunteers and donors!

“A huge thank you to every person, mom and dad who contributed. Thank you to 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, Denise, Zelda, Jamaine, and every amazing woman who lovingly knitted these precious items. Your generosity and kindness bring comfort and hope to little ones and their families,” Con Brio said in appreciation of its supporters.

Thanks to the generosity of all those who believe in their cause and Play It Forward Jozi, Con Brio was also able to donate balls, baby toys, hospital trays and magazines to BHCC Hospital and Clinic Outreach for the many clinics and hospitals they assist.

Volunteers are already collecting soaps, wet wipes, sanitary pads and other essentials in preparation for the next hospital drop-off, which will no doubt offer support to many new incoming patients.
