Mia le Roux has brought all the heat to Mexico ahead of the 2024 Miss Universe pageant with looks that deserve their own award! Here’s a peak at Mia in Mexico’s lookbook:

Mexico (07 November 2024) — Miss South Africa Mia le Roux might just be the reason Mexico’s temperatures rise dramatically this month, thanks to an array of curated looks that have all served nothing but heat ahead of her participation in Miss Universe.

While the pageant is scheduled to take place only on 17 November, Mia’s lookbook has already won fashion lovers’ nods of approval. From gowns boasting classic glamour to a disco girl boss-inspired power suit that ABBA would approve of and garments designed with South African heritage in mind, Mia has certainly made a fashionable mark on Mexico already.

Many agreed that Mia’s departure look in royal red was the pinnacle of departure looks, and it’s not hard to understand why.

With a heart boasting a glittering South African flag, Mia channelled the likes of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn in the red number designed by Juan William Aria before waving her home country goodbye.

The Charming Chwayita Dress

Day 3 saw Mia in a striking design by Khosi Nkosi where she oozed elegance with the Chwayita dress. Even a non-South African user shared that they hope Mia wins Miss Universe after she shared a photo of herself in the garment!

On Day 4, Mia gave us more vintage silhouettes in a design by Africa Fashion International and positively glowed in the golden look. Following up on all the gold energy later on, Mia adorned another AFI dress that had some people falling over (literally, a user shared they fell to their knees at the taxi rank).

We’re not sure cerise pink has ever looked better on anyone, ever. Mia’s Day 6 look by Sherif Tailor offered a day of twirling around as the might-as-well-be-a-princess shared.

The Real Princess Mia

We might actually just start referring to Mia as Princess Mia at this point, because her gown by Hollywood Costumes SA was nothing if not fit for a palace. Sorry Jenovia, there’s a new Princess Mia in town!

In a softer arrangement, Mia earned the title of some people’s favourite look from her Mexico adventure thus far. Glittering, glamorous and gorgeously feminine, the dress by Dollhouse Emporium ate and left no crumbs.
