After waiting nearly 2 years due to COVID-19, the new James Bond has finally been given a release date, with an exciting new trailer as well!
Johannesburg, South Africa (03 September 2021) – Get ready South Africa, James Bond is back!
No Time to Die is the 25th movie in the James Bond series starring Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as the fictional British MI6 agent. Craig has said it will be his final Bond film.
No time to die has all the elements Bond fans have come to expect from a James Bond film – incredible stunts, exotic locations, a chase sequence, high-tech gadgets and devices, strong female characters and an evil villain in the form of Rami Malek.
“James Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
No Time to Die was originally scheduled for release in November 2019 but was postponed to February 2020 and then to April 2020 after Boyle’s departure. The premiere in China and a countrywide publicity tour, planned for April 2020, were cancelled due to the early outbreak of COVID-19 in the country. By March 2020, the global spread of the virus and the declaration of a pandemic by the World Health Organization prompted a joint open letter from two James Bond fan sites addressed to the producers. The letter asked that the release be delayed to minimise the risk of spreading the disease and to ensure the film’s commercial success.
Now after waiting nearly 2 years, South Africa will be able to watch the new film in cinemas from the 1st of October 2021… 7 days before the USA!!!
