South Africans are even calling on the Ndlovu Youth Choir x RHS mashup to be the new Bok anthem, for all the gees it brings!
South Africa (16 September 2025) – If you’ve seen the clip doing the rounds (watch below), you’ll understand the wave of South African pride it has caused.
Learners from Rustenburg High School recently got the chance to sing and dance alongside the legendary Ndlovu Youth Choir. The school became a stage and for a minute, everyone watching felt the spirit of South Africa shine through.
Posted during the choir’s FNB Heritage Tour, the joint performance has taken off online, racking up well over 13,000 likes, 1.7k shares and 1,000 comments in under three days.
The Ndlovu Youth Choir has always been about uplifting through music, and seeing them bring that spirit into a school where learners match their infectious energy beat for beat, brings us joy.
The school has a reputation for musical magic of their own. You might remember The Rustenburg Choir’s viral turns from years back (when they covered Living Years and Fix You).
Seeing their spark blend so well with the country’s most loved youth choir is special.
What also stands out is what South Africans saw in the clip. The comments are a chorus of their own.
