‘See the Good’ is a new global movement aimed at addressing the growing hate being shared online; international celebs are adding their voices to stories that inspire unity.

Global (03 December 2024) – The world is in such a weird space at the moment; wars are breaking out, society is filled with intolerance and hate, and bullying is rife, and yet, the good still shines through when we allow it to have a space. The good has so much space here at Good Things Guy, and we love embracing initiatives that aim to add more good to the world. ‘See the Good’ is a new global initiative that is being shared online in the hope of breaking the cycle of hate and inspiring us to reach out and live life in kindness.

‘See the Good’ is a celebrity-amplified global anti-hate campaign that promotes commonalities without asking people to choose sides. SEE THE GOOD creates and shares emotionally resonant content about people all over the world on a mission to make the world a better place.

The team reached out to organisations worldwide where they saw good things being shared. Naturally, Good Things Guy was the perfect fit for sharing the ‘See the Good’ campaign with the South African audience, as good news is our jam!

“Every person with a platform has the opportunity and obligation to slow down hate. Take a stand!” – See the Good

The hope is that by sharing good things, we slow down the hate, and we have seen that unfold in South Africa thanks to the Good Things Guy readers for nearly a decade (yes, that’s almost how old we are!). Readers capture every good moment they can and send them in to be shared with the greater audience. Thanks to the people on the ground, we have so many good things to share. Your voices make the difference!

Some of the big voices behind this campaign include Michael Douglas, Gene Simmons, Mayim Bialik, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jenna Dewan, to name a few.

The See the Good campaign officially launches in January 2025 but they already have some inspiring content available online should you want to check it out.
