The Angel Network has set a goal to raise R2.5 Million in 48 hours for World Hunger Month and every donation will be doubled up.

South Africa (15 May 2023) – Every year, the Angel Network touches thousands of lives. They do this by raising funds to cover their various projects. They are busy planning for their biggest fundraiser yet, to raise R2.5 million in 48 hours. The best part is companies and organisations have committed to match every donation so they can double up on the goodness!

The organisation has spent the last few years feeding millions of South Africans and foreign nationals by supplying food parcels, stocking soup kitchen pantries and supplying funding to smaller organisations working on the ground in the poorest communities in South Africa.

Their continued support through feeding programmes has meant many children were able to eat each day, that men and women had the strength to face each unknown and that those who were sick had the strength to pull through and recover.

The Angel Network not only helps sustain feeding schemes, but they have also continued their efforts to help wherever needed. They educate, uplift and upskill people too!

Through 100 soup kitchens, the Angel Network is able to feed 300,000 people every month. The work they do is invaluable and goes a long way toward combatting hunger in South Africa. You can help them reach more lives this World Hunger Month.

“Driven by the spirit of Ubuntu and caring for one another, The Angel Network works to alleviate poverty and social injustice by offering a hand UP to communities and individuals in need.

May is World Hunger Month, shining the spotlight on the millions who still suffer from starvation. We implore you to stand UP, show UP and Uplift those in need. It’s UP to all of us to make a difference. So let’s join forces and together raise R2 500 000 at our UPcoming Fundnation charity drive.”

The goal to raise R2.5 million is a worthy one! The main event will take place between the 28th and 29th of May but donations are open already. You can find out how to donate via the website here. Remember for every rand you donate, the organisation will be getting a double up.
