If being bold and more creative is on your 2025 agenda, this one’s for you. Seasoned artists and budding creatives alike are invited to submit work for an open art exhibition in Noordhoek, ‘Out the Box’!

Noordhoek, South Africa (15 January 2025) — Noordhoek Art Point Gallery is gearing up for something that’ll come as music to the ears of budding creatives—the chance to showcase your work! As the gallery’s fourth open art exhibition, people at all levels of creativity are invited to leap out of the box, be bold and share their work beyond the walls of their home.

‘Out the Box’ is set to be an exciting exhibition that merges two cultural colliders: art and music. This year, the theme for submissions is ‘Inspired by Music’ to act as the intersection between the two fields.

As the gallery shares:

“Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a budding talent, this exhibition is open to everyone with a passion for art and music. It’s your chance to let rhythm, harmony, and melody ignite your imagination. Think beyond the canvas and let music move you—interpret your favourite song, pay tribute to a legendary musician, or channel the raw emotions of a powerful song into your masterpiece.”

Sunday painters, those who retired from the art world and music nuts with an affinity for art who simply can’t wait to create under the theme are all invited to submit work.

Out the Box Submission Details:

Theme: Inspired by Music

Entry Deadline: 16 March 2025

Artwork Size: 40×40 cm

“Music has the power to stir our emotions and connect us in a way words often can’t,” reflects gallery owner Aimee Kruger. “This year’s theme invites artists to that that connection a step further and express it visually.”

“We’re so excited to see how participants will let music inspire their creativity and encourage everyone to push boundaries, think out of the box, and create something truly extraordinary!”
