We weren’t just surrounded by the buzz of business, we were surrounded by hope, grit and a proudly South African spirit that refuses to be anything but brilliant.
From small-town dreamers with big ideas to powerhouse executives shaping billion-rand industries, we sat down with people who are doing the most to build something better. Each interview, every chat, and all the laughter in between shared one common thread: the belief that South Africa is stronger when we buy, support, and grow local.
The vibe? Electric. The mission? Clear.
The Proudly SA summit is a celebration of local excellence. With hundreds of businesses showing off what they’re made of (literally and figuratively), we got to spotlight the hard work behind everything from fashion to food, engineering to education. It’s a reminder that we don’t need to look overseas for greatness, it’s right here, homegrown.
