A vibrant celebration of women empowerment and creativity culminated in the creation of a stunning artwork that will greatly benefit young dancers from disadvantaged communities.

Cape Town, South Africa (03 September 2024) – The Colour Your Passion official launch event was a vibrant celebration of women’s empowerment and community spirit.

The event brought together inspiring women from all walks of life to share their experiences, support one another, and contribute to a worthy cause.

Upon arrival, attendees were encouraged to add a splash of colour to a large white canvas board.

An artist was then invited to work her magic, turning it into a work of art that was auctioned off to the highest bidder who bid R3,200 for it, which Colour Your Passion, in turn, matched.

Through the creative auction and generous donations, the event raised funds for Dance For All, an NPO that provides dance classes to disadvantaged children.

The brainchild and source of comfort from their past pains, Bridgette Brukman and Shan Engelbrecht’s Colour Your Passion initiative was created to inspire and celebrate women doing extraordinary things and giving back to their community.

“Supporting charity is entrenched in the concept of Colour Your Passion. Every event we do has a charitable arm. We choose a charity we love and we raise some funds but also introduce our following to the charity.

“Our first event included Dance For All an NPO that teaches dance to kids in vulnerable areas. To highlight the beautiful work they do, we had two of their beautiful ballerinas at the event,” shared Colour Your Passion director Shantelle Engelbrecht.

With more events planned for the future, Colour Your Passion continues to be a beacon of hope and empowerment for women while giving back to worthy causes in South Africa.
