Cher

Cher fired back at a Twitter follower for questioning her intentions after she promised to offer refuge to the American ‘Dreamers’.

Donald Trump has revoked the protection of ‘Dreamers’ under the ‘Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)’ policy that was implemented by Barack Obama during his time as President.

DACA was implemented to protect children that were brought to America from Mexico and other Southern American countries. The children, while illegal immigrants at the time, had grown up in America and were given protection by Obama under the DACA policy. These undocumented immigrants have been dubbed ‘Dreamers’.

With Trump revoking the policy, it means these immigrants that have grown up in America are now at risk of being deported back to a country they do not know, as adults.

Cher has been very outspoken about this issue on Twitter and has urged members of the public as well as other celebs to shelter the ‘Dreamers’ from Trump. She has also condemned Trump for his actions.

Shortly after tweeting one of Cher’s followers tweeted her saying she didn’t believe Cher would actually do as she said she would. So Cher responded in a way that only Cher could!

Cher Smack Down

One thing we know for sure is that Cher won’t stand for unfair treatment towards people that should be protected. We also learned that she is fiercely passionate about the state of her country and refuses to let anyone bring her down including the President and Twitter trolls.
