“No, we’re not close to breaking point at all. If we take the lessons from the past and look at the resilience of all people, yes, there’s lots of hope.” – Imtiaz Sooliman

South Africa (29 January 2023) – Moneyweb has teamed up with Jeremy Maggs, a veteran journalist and broadcaster, to produce a new podcast called “FixSA”.

In his most recent interview, Maggs sits down with Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of Gift of the Givers, to chat about the state of South Africa, what exactly it means to be an “active citizen” and how we change the future of our beautiful country.

“The more I speak and the more talks I go to and the more people I meet, they are ready for mindset change, and there’s only one big requirement here: take ownership of the country. The country doesn’t belong to the government, it belongs to the people of South Africa, and we need to take ownership of it.” – Imtiaz Sooliman
