daughter

Eddy Msimango’s daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy, he has done everything in his power to give her the best life, and now he wants to help others like her.

Johannesburg, South Africa – Eddy Msimango held a Christmas party for differently-abled children last year as a way to give back to other children that are just like his daughter.

Eddy is an exceptional father that does everything in his power to make sure his daughter has the best life possible. His daughter has was born with cerebral palsy. The Christmas party inspired Eddy to do more after seeing how much joy it brought to the children. The charity bug bit him hard and he decided that 2019 would be the year to do more for more people.

Eddy contacted us to let us know he is working hard to make a difference. He has started an organisation inspired by his daughter, named Siphesihle Foundation.

Earlier this year, as his first act of charity, Eddy visited an orphanage called Ahanang in Soweto to hand out shoes, socks and sandals to all the children living there. For his second act of charity, he decided to look inwards and support a cause close to his heart. He collected blankets and dropped them off at his daughter’s school.

“Today I managed to hand out knitted blankets to underprivileged and disabled children at Forest Town School. This is the very same school that my daughter attends.”

The blankets will keep all the students warm during the winter. It was a much-needed gift, and each child loved their blanket. They handpicked the perfect blanket to match their personality.

Eddy is going to keep doing everything to honour children like his daughter. He is an inspiring father, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for the rest of his year.
