This Mother’s Day, you can give mom a gift that has the power to save a family of four; the Angel Network has the perfect gift for everyone!

Johannesburg, South Africa (05 May 2020) –  Every year we take one day to honour our mothers. They deserve way more than one day, but this day we make extra special. Mother’s Day 2020 is set to be a very hard one! If you live away from Mom, it means no breakfast in bed, no hugs and no giving her the spoil she deserves. We could just cry thinking of missing out on mom hugs!

Thankfully, the Angel Network has come up with an incredible way to honour mom and make a difference. They have created a little certificate you can give your mom, and the cost is the same as taking her to lunch. The certificate enables the Angel Network to feed a family of four for two weeks.

They are using the funds to purchase the certificate, to buy pantry staples for families. These include Mielie meal, rice, samp, sugar and cooking oil. With these staples, a family can get through two weeks, if not even more!

The organisation has helped hundreds of families already, and with your help, in honour of mom, they can do so much more! Take a look at their Facebook page to see just a few of the food parcels they have already distributed.

The organisation is working with community representatives to ensure that the food parcels end up exactly where they are meant to, in the homes of South Africa’s most vulnerable.

You can also contact Glynne from the Angel Network and donate directly to them. You can use the information listed below.
