The world has rejoiced the birth of a new royal. Prince William and Kate have welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world and everyone is excited.

We are not sure what the pull of the royals is, but we just love it when they have good news to share. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka William and Kate, shared their happy news of the birth of their third child.

According to reports, Kate was taken to the hospital on Monday morning (23 April 2018) where she gave birth. Later that day, the couple introduced their new son to the world on the steps of Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital. They had done this with both Prince George and Princess Charlotte as well.

An announcement was made confirming the time the royal baby was born and how much he weighed. According to Aol, this is the heaviest royal baby to be born in the last 100 years.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

We cannot wait to find out what the baby boy’s name will be and see how his siblings interact with him over the coming years. Now we have a royal wedding to look forward to.
