Stephen Hawking has sadly passed away today and the world has remembered him in the best way.
Stephen Hawking was a man dedicated to searching for the answers to the universe. He spent his incredible life focusing on theories relating to general relativity and quantum gravity. These things were mindboggling ideas to most people but thanks to shows like the Big Bang Theory, they became somewhat easier to understand.
Stephen spent most of his life dedicated to science but he also graced the world with his wisdom of the world and even spent some time entertaining us.
He was featured in shows like Futurama, The Simpsons and the Big Bang Theory. These roles earned him the title of ‘Pop Culture Physicist’. Not only did the world get a glimpse of his humour but learning about his life in the movie ‘The Theory of Everything’ was so unbelievably inspiring. The movie received multiple Academy Award nominations as well.
Here is one of our favourite quotes from Stephen Hawking:
“Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”
People have come together to pay their respects in the greatest way, remembering all the things Stephen ever did for them.
We were on earth at the same time as Stephen Hawking.
That's kind of a miraculous thing.
We breathed the same air as the man who demystified the stars.

Remembering Stephen Hawking, a renowned physicist and ambassador of science. His theories unlocked a universe of possibilities that we & the world are exploring. May you keep flying like superman in microgravity, as you said to astronauts on @Space_Station in 2014 pic.twitter.com/FeR4fd2zZ5

Sad to hear about Stephen Hawking. What a remarkable life. His contributions to science will be used as long as there are scientists, and there are many more scientists because of him. He spoke about the value and fragility of human life and civilisation and greatly enhanced both
