Trying to write this story with tears in our eyes! Evie Clair from Florence, Arizona stepped on stage to perform for the judges on America’s Got Talent.
Simon Cowell asks Evie why she decided to audition for the show and her story moves everyone to tears!
“It’s just always been my dream ever since I was little”
“About a year ago my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and they gave him 5% chance to live, he still continues working and supporting our family so tonight I am here to sing for him”
Evie chose such a beautiful song to audition with! Arms by Christina Perri. Simon Cowell asked Evie why she chose that song?
“When my dad is having rough days, then I go up to his room and I sing him this song to help him feel better. And just to give him comfort and strength to continue fighting”
Simon commends her on being brave enough to share her family’s story. Evie then starts to sing and blows the crowd away with her stunning voice!
