Bless the rains down in South Africa, parts of the country receive much-needed rain

South Africa is always in need of water, so whenever it rains South Africans rejoice; however, yesterday it poured down, making the moment even sweeter.

 

South Africa – It is not news that South Africa is in need of water, the country is water-scarce so every drop counts. We have been more desperate for rain than ever before. Farmlands have turned barren, livestock lost, communities left with dry taps and many on the brink of running dry.

Hence why everyone rejoices when it rains, we no longer sing “rain, rain go away, come again another day“, we encourage and praise every drop.

Yesterday, the Eastern and Western Cape were blessed with a downpour that saw rivers form down roads and dry land soaked to the point of becoming water-logged.

Our hearts swelled when we saw the photos and videos flooding social media. Take a look at the incredible posts of the rains below.
