Ndlovu Youth Choir perform to International sold-out show

The Ndlovu Youth Choir are currently on an international tour to share their talent with the world and doing it for sold-out audiences!

 

Netherlands, Europe – Shortly after meeting President Cyril Ramaphosa, the Ndlovu Youth Choir set off on an international tour. They set off for the Netherlands and were welcomed to sold-out shows.

Their first show was in Utrecht, and it was a sold-out performance, the second show was in Oosterhout. That too was sold out, so they arranged a second show which also sold out.

They set off home two days later and Ralf Schmitt, the musical director, told TshisaLIVE that every show ended with a standing ovation from the crowd.

“It was a crazy experience. The theatre organisers said that though they had sold out the theatre twice on Sunday, they could have sold it out two more times. There were standing ovations and people just wanted more. It shows that we have a great show and we can’t wait to do it in South Africa.”

They took the time yesterday to wish Simon Cowell happy birthday. Simon was a massive fan of the choir during their America’s Got Talent performances and even offered them a recording contract. Through Sony South Africa, they will work through all the details.

As of now, they have multiple opportunities and each one is being assessed to see what the best way forward for the group is.
