This week, #TheGoodStuff brings you “The Dermalogica Foundation’s FITE programs” investing in the potential of women and girls by creating pathways to entrepreneurship.
“Although the advancement of women’s empowerment has made huge strides in the last century, especially in more Western countries, women still have a ways to go before they can say gender equality has been achieved.”
FITE invests in local grassroots initiatives to help women become leaders, impactful citizens and champions for pressing social issues. By providing women entrepreneurs with access to small loans and business resources, FITE offer women a hand up, and help fill the gap between what they can do and what they need.
FITE’S FOCUS
- Economic Support
- Education & Training
- Empowering Communities
Women have the power to yield significant returns for themselves, their families and their communities.
There are roughly 67 million children not in school and more than half are girls, we are in need of organisations such as FITE that see the value in investing in the women of the future.
#TheGoodStuff charity team have seen a need in communities for more women to be empowered to be available for transformation with a tender mind set and encouraging support.
Initiatives such as FITE hold power in their impact. What is important for us to see is just how influential FITE can be in their support in education, mentorship and job skills programs.
