As the Olympics nears a little over a month away, Team South Africa has announced the second official list of our athletes who will make us proud in Paris!

South Africa (21 June 2024) — The Olympic torch is back in metropolitan France, people around the world are sitting at the edge of their seats in anticipation, and now South Africa has announced its second official list of athletes who have made the Olympic squad!

Barry Hendricks, who made the official list announcement for the second cohort of athletes said:

“This is a significant step in acknowledging the remarkable achievements of our athletes. This moment also marks a new milestone for [SASCOC] as we continue our commitment to deliver a strong and competitive Team SA for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.”

Not only does the second official list of athletes confirm how much talent there is to be proud of in our country, but it is also a testament to just how diverse South African talents in sport are.
