Cayden Robert is a rising South African motorsport racing star who has his sights set on the big leagues. With numerous achievements under his helmet, the 16-year-old is ready to give the sport his all and earn his place on international tracks and podiums.

South Africa (28 March 2025) — Rising motorsport racing star, 16-year-old Cayden Robert, fell in love with the sport at a young age. Determined as ever, Cayden set his sights on the big leagues, and he’s not slowing down anytime soon.

Thanks to his older brother Tyreece, Cayden spent a lot of his childhood on the sidelines of racetracks where he cheered his brother on and got bit by the racing bug himself in the process.

By the time he was six years old, it was finally Cayden’s turn to learn how to race. Mini bikes at the ready, he won races in his very first season and even went on to join the SA Motorcycle Racing Academy a while later!

By the time he was 13, Cayden enjoyed a massive moment in his young career—becoming the youngest-ever Dragon Energy Pro Athlete. He also won the same NSF Championship he’d set his sights on winning when he was younger.

In 2022, Cayden graduated to greater heights under the guidance of 11-time SA superbike champion, Clint Seller and his dad Craig. Winning the NSF Championship again, he also made the big move to the 150 Class that season.

With 2023 came highs and lows for the King Price Xtreme rocket racer. On the one hand, Cayden conquered the SA Short Circuit 150 Cup Championship and the RSR 150 Cup Championship. On the other hand, he made it to the Red Bull Rookies Trials in Spain, but missed out on being selected.

Undeterred, 2024 came and with it, even more determination. Cayden went on to dominate the SA Short Circuit 150 Cup once again this time as a senior, and earned himself another chance at the Rookies too!

Now in 2025, Cayden can’t wait to leap to a 600cc Superbike and zoom towards an exciting future (once his homework and training are done, of course).

Here’s to spotlighting more stars on their come-up journeys!
