Cape Town, South Africa (21 October 2021) – Oh be still you giddy heart, adventure is afoot, and to prepare, one of South Africa’s iconic tourism activities, the Red Bus, is getting ready to welcome back international (and local) tourists.

The Cape Town Red Bus has announced the intention to start daily tours for the Cape Point and Penguin Explorer packages from November. This is fantastic news for the tourism industry, it is a sign of hope for good things to come.

The Cape Point tour is an action-packed one.

“The Cape Point & Peninsula Tour is a guided day tour to Cape Point in a luxury air-conditioned double-deck coach, operated by City Sightseeing South Africa. You will explore this spectacular nature reserve (part of the Cape Floral Kingdom World Heritage Site), with a stop at Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins. This day tour to the Cape of Good Hope is a must-see for visitors and locals.”

As we said, this is exciting news indeed, not only for the Red Bus but for the industry as a whole. There are so many people who rely on tourism to earn their incomes. After nearly two years of hardship, this glimmer of hope is something that truly warms our hearts!

Hands up if you are excited?
