We spotted a copy of “Only Good Things” on Themba Robin’s shelf, a book celebrating 100 uplifting South African stories.

 

South Africa (12 October 2025) – We all know Themba Robin for his hilarious videos, unforgettable voice in some of our favourite commercials, and the way he keeps us laughing online. But in a recent video, while he had us chuckling about receding hairlines, eagle-eyed viewers spotted something else in the background. A copy of GoodThingsGuy’s book, Only Good Things, sitting on his shelf.

The book, available here, celebrates 100 feel-good South African stories. From sporting achievements and lifestyle wins to acts of kindness and everyday heroism, it highlights the incredible things happening across the country.

Themba is featured in the book, sharing his hopes and insights into the good things happening in South Africa. We were truly excited when he contributed his thoughts.

While Themba’s fans laughed along, the book in the background served as a reminder that positivity and good news are always worth sharing.
