Motorcyclists showed up in seas of pink, purple and blue to raise awareness!
South Africa (03 February 2026) – The first-ever annual dress-up ride – Saddle Up – was hosted across provinces on Sunday in honour of World Cancer Day.
Riders from Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town rallied for the Cancervive fancy-dress and ride event.
The national motorcycle awareness campaign saw all manner of solo riders, motorcycle clubs, friends, and families move together in convoy, in honour of the warriors, survivors, and loved ones who’ve lost their lives to cancer.
“It was also a moment to celebrate life and the strength of community, while continuing to raise awareness to protect and inform more lives. Thank you to everyone who showed up, took part, and rode with purpose,” Cancervive shared.
