smiles

Dr Sonal Bhoot is a cosmetic dentist who also happens to be a major Game of Thrones fan, she has analysed the smiles of 30 characters and ranked them best to worst.

United States – Season 8 is just around the corner, like a few hours away to be exact. We almost can’t sit still, we are so excited to watch it. It is no secret the Good Things Guy team are massive fans, and one reader wanted to share a little bit of interesting information we didn’t know we needed.

While the show’s characters spend most of their time scowling or plotting, they have all had their chance to smile in the show. Some smiles, like that of Samwell Tarly, Podrick Payne or perhaps Bronn of the Blackwater are featured far more than those of Cersei Lannister or the forever solemn Jorah Mormont.

The smiles range from laughter and enjoyment to smirking with satisfaction at the failure of others. However, a smile is a smile in Dr Sonal Bhoot’s eyes.

The dentist decided to feature 30 characters that will be appearing in Season 8 and rated them on the quality of their smiles. She developed judgement criteria on which to measure each character’s toothy grin.

A) Smooth Tooth Shape & Alignment
B) Color & Brightness
C) Edges Of The Upper Teeth Should Fall Close To The Contour Of The Lower Lip Line
D) Gummy Smile Or Not, Preferably No Gums Should Be Showing When Smiling

Using this criterion, here are the 30 characters ranked by their smile. It is no surprise the Night King came last; we have yet to see him smiling. And hope never to see a smile, because that would only mean horrible things are coming!
