Adele Johnson shared a pro-tip on how to ensure you get free 24-hour security guards on your doorstep and people can’t get over how clever it is!

Homeward Bound or Hoping” is an incredibly helpful group for South Africans living abroad and looking to move back home. The group offers advice and support to families and individuals ready to make the move home after living around the globe.

Often, when one lives away from home, they tend to only hear the bad things which can be discouraging. Living away for long periods of time can also lead to being out of touch with the way things work or which the best service providers may be.

The Homeward Bound group acts as a forum to help people make the move back home. Any question is open for discussion as long as it promotes a hopeful and positive outlook about South Africa. The only rule is no posting horror stories.

Recently Adele Johnson shared a very helpful tip on the group to help people get free 24-hour security guards. The tip is so clever that people just can’t get enough.

“Pro tip for those moving to SA. Give a few of the security guys your wifi password. Your house will have a guard outside most of the time (he is behind the tree)”

People loved the idea so much they suggested that entire neighbourhoods should do this to completely change crime stats.

Lol, brilliant idea, and if everyone around you does the same, guards will be at every corner of the neighbourhood, safe for sure” – Dave Allen

That is so clever! We have three guys on bikes around our area – we supply them dinners twice a month but defo going to give the wifi password.” – Marcelle Keehan

I’m sure investing in unlimited broadband is cheaper than hiring guard!!! 😂😂 Bloody brilliant idea!” – Stefanie Rymsza

We love this idea so much! Are you going to pass your password along?
