Barak Obama

Barak Obama went on his first vacation since leaving the White House and their vacation destination was Richard Branson’s private Island… obviously.

After serving eight years as the President of the United States, Obama and his family took a well deserved and long overdue vacation. They visited British businessman Richard Branson and stayed on his private Island, Moskito in the British Virgin Islands.

Photo’s have been circulating the internet of a relaxed looking Obama. Wearing flipflops, sunglasses and a hat on backwards, relaxing beach side with friends.

The American people have been tweeting up a storm, sharing their happiness for the Obama’s but also urging him to hurry home soon!

“Go ahead, playa. You earned that” – @TheUndefeated

“I MISS BARACK AND MICHELLE!!!!” – @tmzanthony

“I want to make a joke, but frankly the guy deserves everything in this picture. Thanks for everything, O.” – @Chrisalbon

“I am sincerely happy for him but like also baby come back” – @Kat_Ge

Richard Branson recently shared photo’s and video footage of a long standing challenge the two men had. Richard invited Barak Obama to his Island to learn how to Kite Surf. At the end of the trip they put their skills to the test.

“So it was tremendous to offer him the chance to learn to kitesurf. The sport has really taken off in the past decade and we have the perfect conditions and team to help anyone learn. I have also wanted to learn foilboard surfing. So we decided to set up a friendly challenge: could Barack learn to kitesurf before I learned to foilboard? We agreed to have a final day battle to see who could stay up the longest.”
