A ‘Skeptic’ 6-year-old has ripped Santa Claus a new one in a viral Christmas letter: ‘Your life is empty’
The 6-year-old boy is one of the only kids in his class to think that Santa is a fraud and he wasn’t afraid to express his opinion to the jolly fellow.
NPR reporter Sarah McCammon shared her son’s letter to Twitter which has quickly gone viral.
“My 6yo Santa skeptic was told to write a letter to Santa at school,” McCammon wrote. “So he did….”
By the next morning, McCammon’s tweet had been liked about 15,000 times and retweeted close to 10,000 times.
The full letter reads:
“Dear Santa,
Santa I’m only doing this for the class. I know your naughty list is empty. And your good list is empty. And your life is empty. You don’t know the trouble I’ve had in my life. Good bye.
Love,
I’m not telling you my name.”
His mom took to Twitter to explain his “troubles” in life, just in case people were concerned:
PS – the "troubles" in his life? His brother. Don't call child services. 😂
