Ski resort bosses have released a ‘greatest twits’ compilation after watching their mountain webcams repeatedly being photobombed by pranksters.
The compilation shows fancy dress-wearing skiers performing bizarre stunts in front of the cameras at the Obergurgl/Hochgurgl resort in the Austrian Alps.
One man, wearing only underpants and ski boots, swings past on a mocked up wrecking ball while another, in a horse costume, uses a trampoline to jump in to view.
There’s also a makeshift beach scene complete with volleyball game, a cops and robbers chase in cardboard cut-out cars, and a man in a rubber dinghy being tailed by a shark.
The video was released along with a reminder that the webcams – designed for tourists to check snow conditions – are streamed live to some 4,000 hotel rooms in the area.
A caption shown at the beginning of the film says: In 2015 some idiots started photobombing our 3 live webcams. These are some of our favourites.
The compilation has already proved a hit online and has been shared thousands of times by skiing enthusiasts.
Derek Kerr wrote: “That’s what skiing is all about, love it.”
Ivelin Pashov added: “I don’t know if there are idiots or not but this video is an awesome advertisement for the resort.”
