The DHL Stadium in Cape Town was filled with explosive energy as the DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls went head to head for the United Rugby Championship, but it may have been the dancers that stole the show!

Cape Town, South Africa (21 June 2022) – Wiaan Laing went viral for his “Single Ladies” dance in April 2022 and over the weekend, with the help of his fellow DHL Dancers and Cheerleaders, put on a show to wow the crowds.

The DHL Stormers played host to the United Rugby Championship (URC) final, where they got to play against the Vodacom Bulls to earn the title of the 2022 championship. This game was set to be a massive one because it was the first year that these two South African teams had played in the URC league. To have a local team eligible to win, was an outstanding achievement straight out the gate.

The DHL Stadium spared no expense to put on the best show, and it paid off! Not only were the crowd thoroughly entertained, but the DHL Stormers were able to win the championship.

Part of the entertainment included a dance-off between the DHL cheerleaders and dancers. This new element to the entertainment proved successful when Wiaan Laing went viral in April this year. Bringing him back along with a crew of talented dancers sent the crowd wild.

Wiaan Laing is a hip-hop dancer and teacher from the Stellenbosch Dance Academy. He has caught the attention of many fans, and we cannot get enough of his performances.

If you missed the performance this weekend, we have the video below, along with a few other angles that we have found online.

Take a look at the brilliant performance below.
