Flashmob

The employee’s of the Malmesbury Superspar put on a dazzling performance of ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ for a visiting Spar Group member, it’s just brilliant!

The group put the performance on for Roelf Venter who was visiting the Malmesbury Superspar on behalf of the Spar Group. Nearly every employee got involved in the flashmob, some waving flags and singing along while others danced down the bakery isle.

Andrew Francis was in store when the flashmob kicked off, capturing the brilliant moment on camera. He then posted it to Facebook where the video is on its way to going viral.

Since posting it last week, it has been viewed over 350,000 times. People are loving it and have been commenting how great the managers are, how talented the staff are and how uplifting it is to see people having fun at work.

Roelf Venter was completely surprised and during the video can be seen filming the ladies with sheer joy on his face. He later stopped and took a picture with all the ladies, which can be seen above.

Roelf is a pretty big deal at Spar, he is the Group Retail Operations Director and Chairman of The SPAR Guild of Southern Africa. So it is no wonder the group decided to work so hard to put on such a cool performance in his honour.

We love Spar here at Good Things Guy, because they make sure our weekly hero is treated like the Hero they truly are.

WOW!!! What an amazing surprise while visiting your store 🙂 #FlashMob in the beautiful town of #Malmesbury
