Before the Springboks take the field, one dancer, Justin de Nobrega, gets the crowd fired up with electric moves and big energy.

South Africa (18 July 2025) – Let’s be honest! Rugby in South Africa is a serious affair. The fans are loud, the tackles and the vuvuzelas. However, before any scrum, kick, or try, there is one guy who gets the crowd on their feet and sets the stadium on fire, Justin de Nobrega.

If you have been to a Springbok game, live or on TV, chances are you have seen Justin in action. He is the guy with the smooth moves, infectious energy, and the kind of rhythm that makes you want to hop on the fun and become a dancer too. You can also watch the video via Instagram here.

@justindenobregaa What a round of emotions felt all over yet again at the Bokke vs Italy game!🇿🇦💚 Thank you Gqeberha for showing such great love and energy to us – @StreetStylers 💚 are just getting started🤩 RSA No DNA Choreography: @Aimsley Fortuin RSA No DNA Soundtrack: @Ameen Harron Full team kit by: @PnP Clothing Let me know if you want to see more of the full performance 😎🇿🇦💚 #Dance #fyp #rugby #sarugby #viral #bokke #springboks ♬ RSA no DNA – Ameen Harron

Justin does not just dance, but he delivers. Before the first whistle, while fans are still trying to find their seats or finish their boerewors rolls, he is already commanding the field, hyping the crowd and turning the stadium into a big party.

What makes him special is not just the choreography (which is always on point), but also how he connects with people. His moves blend tradition, pop culture, and pure passion. He dances for the fans, with the fans, and we love every second of it.

He has even met the Springboks, which makes sense because if dancing before a game were a sport, Justin would already have a World Cup under his belt. And while the players might lift trophies, Justin lifts moods.

In a world where game day energy is everything, Justin is the hype man, the pre-match legend we never knew we needed. Long may he dance, and long may the Springboks win, ideally with Justin busting a move on the sidelines.
