Since rescuing the SA MAST animal clinic from shutting down, Mdzananda Animal Clinic is giving the satellite clinic a makeover to match its bright colours and renew hope.

Khayelitsha, South Africa (12 July 2023) – Earlier this year, the Mdzananda Animal Clinic took over the SA MAST animal clinic in Khayelitsha to prevent it from shutting its doors. Now, in honour of Mandela Day, they are planning on painting the clinic their iconic orange so it can officially be adopted into the Mdzanada family.

Saving the facility, it is now running under Mdzananda management and is termed the Mdzananda Satellite Sterilisation Clinic. The facility focuses on animal sterilisations and education around the topic. The facility was neglected and on Mandela Day it will be given a facelift with a new coat of paint in the well-known Mdzananda orange colour.

“We invite members of the public to join us on the 15th and 18th of July for the painting events. You’re invited to spend your 67 minutes painting with us.”

“Our Sterilisation Clinic (previously known as SA MAST) is in desperate need of a facelift and new coat of paint.”

“And yes, we’ll be painting it a bright orange – the colour which represents Mdzananda’s creativity, zest for doing the best and passion for animals.”
