Ndavi Nokeri was crowned Miss South Africa 2022 in August last year. She is 23 years old and from Tzaneen in Limpopo, works as an asset manager and has a BCom Investment Management degree from the University of Pretoria. The passionate South African hopes to one day be one of the people who make the decisions about South Africa’s educational and skills development in schools.
Nokeri has the opportunity to join the likes of Margaret Gardiner, crowned in 1978, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in 2017 and Zozibini Tunzi in 2019. We are holding thumbs for you, Miss South Africa! You can find out how to vote via the website here – note, you need to pay to vote.
This year the pageant is being hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana. Reigning Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu from India, will be handing the crown over to someone new.
The pageant will be taking place on the 15th of January (at around 3 am SA time) where a new winner will be crowned Miss Universe. South Africans wanting to watch the pageant will be able to do so on DSTV via channel 103 or it will be available on catch-up later in the day.
