The last time Nkosi went to a Sharks game, his ultimate player wasn’t there, but this time, he got to meet Siya Kolisi, and his reaction is just the best thing!
South Africa (10 March 2025) – Nkosi “the Rugby Guy” Mnikazi has had some major dreams come true in the world of rugby. When we last shared his news, he had joined Vincent Tshikaya Tshituka in the tunnel before a Hollywoodbets Sharks game; this time, he met the ultimate South African rugby player, Siya Kolisi.
Nkosi is a massive rugby fan and creates content on Instagram under the name “Nkosi the Rugby Guy“. Over the past year, he has had the chance to attend several games, starting with his favourite, the Lions. He has since attended many games and had the chance to meet multiple rugby players.
It is evident that his love for the game is greater than any one team; getting the chance to be at the games, no matter the team, is a great honour. We so hope to see him at many more games (hint, hint Bokke!!!).
His most recent game was another Sharks game, and this time, Siya Kolisi was playing. Cue the dream moment when Nkosi and Siya got to meet, and the bear hug from Siya was everything! Nkosi’s reaction to meeting Siya Kolisi truly made our hearts sing.

On his social media pages, Nkosi has been sharing all his training moments and motivational speeches. He also encourages fellow rugby fans to head out and watch the games live in the stadium, hoping to drum up support for the teams in South Africa. After all, full stadiums with cheering fans make a huge difference to team morale.
