South Africa, we need to talk… not sure why the holiday gods have done this, or if the declining economy is going to survive this, but there is a massive possibility that South African businesses will be closing doors for 20 days of holiday in the first quarter of 2016.

South Africa (14 January 2016) – Taking three days in March and four in April will get you 20 days off in those months when combined with the weekends and public holidays.

We’re going to go out on a limb here & tell you to put that application in NOW cause there are going to be many jumping on this opportunity.

Human Rights Day is on 21 March which is a Monday, while Easter this year sees Good Friday on the 25th of March.

By taking leave for the 22, 23, and 24th of March you will be out of the office from Sat the 19th to Tuesday the 29th – 10 days.

Selecting four days in the April period will allow you to make the most of your Freedom and Workers day holidays.

Freedom Day is 27 April which this year is a Wednesday, while Workers Day on the 1st of May is a Sunday.

If you take leave for the 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th of April (4 days) you will be out of the office from Saturday the 23rd of April to Tuesday the 3rd of May – 10 days

And that’s it… we’ve literally given you the tools to take just 7 days leave in 2016 & be away from the office for 20 days!

You’re welcome 🙂
