It’s time to pop the popcorn, switch on the Christmas lights and grab your favourite warm drink, the 2024 Christmas Movie List is here and ready for your enjoyment!

South Africa (01 December 2024) – Have you started the countdown to the festive season yet (we have! We may have started a bit early this year)? Or maybe you are just counting down the days until you get to take a break from work; either way, you can start the countdown by watching a few feel-good holiday movies. We have a whole bunch of new festive content to share, plus all our old favourites.

If you haven’t noticed yet, the Christmas Spirit is strong in the Good Things Guy office. We love the festive season; we believe it brings out the best in people. It is the one time of year when everyone feels the same kind of excitement and spreads joy to those around them.

These days, everything comes in an advent calendar. Gone are the days when you popped a simple, misshaped, practically melted bit of chocolate out a numbered door. Now, you get gin, beers, candles, beauty products, and more in advent calendars. This inspired us to do an advent-style post, and this is our sixth annual list.

There is loads of new festive content out there to look forward to. So let’s start by what to expect this Christmas and then we can jump into the list of classics you have to watch. You can stream these features or find them at your local cinema.
