Since sharing the video of Bella reacting to the Cape Rain, we have been sent many adorable reactions of other pets in Cape Town. Their reactions are equally adorable and we just had to share them with you.
Facebook is filled with wonderful animal videos but when they come from homegrown sources, we have to celebrate them. Recently we have been sent a few more videos of pets reactions to the rain. Since Bella’s reaction, the internet can’t get enough.
Lesley Greenwood shared a video of her 1-year-old chocolate labrador reacting to the rain. Miya, who can be seen above, has never experienced rain and went marbles for it. Lesley confirmed that Miya is one naughty little lady, filled with energy. Anything in their family home automatically belongs to Miya. She is, however, the friendliest dog in the world and has many friends that she cuddles with.
“Miya loves her walks at Sonstraal Dam and Blouberg’s Sunset Beach. She is a friendly and outgoing dog. She has grown up in a houseful of cats and she is very respectful towards them. Her very best bud is a black one-year-old kitten called Chewie. Chewie and Miya kiss, lick and cuddle for hours. Miya is extremely gentle with Chewie.”
“Miya’s other bestie is an 18-year-old Jack Russel called Oscar. The two of them still have great fun and games together although I’m sure that Oscar would love to rest a whole lot more every day! But I think she keeps him young.”

Andrea Lewis shared a video of her beautiful Husky, Bullet. According to Andrea, Bullet is obsessed with water. He is an 8-month-old puppy and he is right there whenever the water is on. This was his first big rain and he had an absolute blast playing in the puddles in the garden.
“He loves water and causing chaos. He is a very loving dog. He is my big baby.”
