A full circle moment came around for a tiny helper, cared for by the Maletsatsi Foundation. A little boy was eager to get involved in spreading joy.

Midrand, South Africa (17 July, 2023) — A full circle moment came around for a tiny helper and the Maletsatsi Foundation who cares for him. Once faced with uncertainty, struggle and a world where the bare minimum was not provided for him, the tiny helper in his new chapter of healing enjoyed playing the role of helper, making sure that his friends in need got a dose of much-needed joy.

As the Maletsatsi Foundation began packing a kaleidoscope of balls, games and toys for children who “still bear the brunt of a collapsed society unable to care from them adequately”, the little boy was eager to get involved; more than eager pack and send off the goodies for others

It was a heart-warming, full-circle moment for the tiny helper’s new community who know that this is not someone who comes from privilege where toys come and go.

Of his story, the Foundation shared:

“Not so long ago officials escorted him away from all he knew. A dire existence at the hands of a community unable to care for his basic needs. What a beautiful sight it was watching this little healing human helping pack up a trailer full of spoils for those children who stayed behind.”

The little boy whose identity was not shared is a reminder that when we help one life, we have the chance to help a magnitude more. The helped become helpers and heroes, and the domino effect of love continues to unfold.

This is why the work organisations like the Maletsatsi Foundation do tirelessly, matters, because kindness-compounded does!
