After a blockbuster debut, South Africa’s top MMA fighters are ready to shine at PFL Africa Season 2, kicking off Friday, April 10, at the SunBet Arena.

Pretoria, South Africa (18 February 2026) – South African fight fans, get ready: PFL Africa is back! Following a successful inaugural season, Season 2 promises even bigger action, showcasing Africa’s rising MMA stars alongside established contenders from over 10 nations across the continent.

Headlining the night is a Bantamweight Showcase Bout featuring South Africa’s Nkosi “King” Ndebele (11-3) against Italy’s Michele “The Arrow” Clemente. Nkosi, the reigning PFL Africa Bantamweight Champion, will be stepping into the cage in front of a roaring home crowd, looking to extend his perfect record in the promotion. He is known for his finishing power as he knocked out Boule Godogo in last year’s PFL Africa Finals to claim the championship.

The co-main event features South Africa’s Justin Clarke (4-1) taking on Senegal’s Abdoulaye Kane (5-1) in a heavyweight clash packed with knockout potential. Justin looks to bounce back from last season’s PFL Africa Heavyweight final loss and will rely on the energy of his home crowd to fuel his performance.

Elias Schulze, General Manager of PFL Africa reflects:

“PFL Africa reflects the ambition, energy, and identity of the continent. It’s more than MMA. It’s a fast-rising cultural platform built around Africa’s elite athletes, delivering world-class entertainment that extends far beyond the cage. As we grow, we’re uniting sport, culture, and fans across the continent.”

The inaugural season confirmed Africa’s potential in mixed martial arts. Partners noted that the focus this year will be on building on that momentum, investing further in the athletes, and creating a lasting platform to showcase African talent to the world.

South African MMA fans are in for a treat. It’s time to cheer and witness another season of champions in action.
