Well, it seems the halls have been decked, so now, it is time to fill them with the cheerful tunes that Christmas offers; Ed Sheeran and our festive favourite, Michael Bublé, have released new songs for the holidays.

Global (09 December 2024) – The festive holidays are just around the corner, and many South Africans are counting down the days till we break up for the December holidays. If you are one of the lucky ones who get time off, today is likely your last working Monday of 2024 (now that’s music to our ears!). To add to that little wiggle in your step, we thought we would share some musical joy to add to the festive feelings. That joy comes thanks to Ed Sheeran and Michael Bublé.

Both artists have released new festive songs this year to bring us cheer! So, if you have already started working on your playlist, be sure to add these two songs! Don’t forget all the local and lekker songs here, too.

First up is Ed Sheeran; this year, his song is for those who may be spending the festive season alone. The song “Under the Tree” was created for the new Netflix animation “That Christmas”, which is a touching story for young and old.

Next is Michael Bublé, who has a duet out with Carly Pearce called “Maybe This Christmas”, another beautiful love song. And if a new song wasn’t enough, Michael Bublé shared a new video in a sing-along of his classic rendition of “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas”.

Sing-along below; this is a fun way to get the family involved for the holidays. The little ones love to sing along.
