A video of two South Africans performing a Karaoke song together is enough to whip you right out of your Monday Blues, take a watch and enjoy. We did!
A video was shared to the ‘Support for a better South Africa’ Facebook group a few months ago and it has recently started being reshared around South Africa again. It is brilliantly uplifting and just what we needed to kick off our Monday.
It showcases two South African men singing at a party. The guys seem to be doing Karaoke but they are so great at their performance, that this can’t be the first time they have performed their song together.
The duo is everything that is great about South Africa and their performance is actually really inspirational, it shows that South Africans can easily live in unity.
Many of the Facebook viewers and commenters have felt the same about how awesome the video is!
“I can’t stop watching these guys lol, no colour just plain proudly SA ppl wow u can literally cry just watching this” – Carl Sefolo
“This is the best video I have seen in a long time.” – Thenji Maxaba Siga
The video itself was captioned with “The South Africa I dream of” and one commenter was quick to point out the one small flaw with that statement. Their outlook made us smile!
“No need to dream about it. it already exists.” – Jont Schoeman
While Denise Veller added “I think they have already achieved it.”
Wow! That is the kind of positivity Good Things Guy thrives on.
Watch the video below and enjoy the show of pure friendship. In case you were wondering what the song is, it’s ‘Sister Bethina’ by Mgarimbe
